Lexi Jones is a transformational speaker, author, business & financial coach, and change agent, delivering mind shifting talks and workshops that disrupt the status quo resulting in transformational experiences.
Lexi’s entrepreneurial spirit was inspired by her mother. In 1978, with a desire to enhance education for preschoolers, her mom founded and operated Apple Day Nursery with Lexi being one of the inaugural group of students. Her mother excelled in preparing her students for Kindergarten. Though her mother has been retired from teaching for more than 30 years, it is known which children (now adults) in the neighborhood were attendees of Apple Day Nursery. Their success in life can be attributed to their great start. Lexi wishes to leave such a legacy in her own way.
In January of 2016, Lexi launched Lexi Jones, LLC, the purposeful business woman’s nexus for business and transformational speaking coaching. Lexi also owns Feminitude LLC which provides cutting edge, Christian based, coaching and consulting to minority women entrepreneurs from idea to launch. She is a licensed financial coach and an independent contractor who locates, trains, and develops leaders for the nations #1 financial marketing firm, Primerica Financial Services.
Her community work and professional associations consist of serving on the Board of Directors for RestoringHer Inc., We Grow-Northwest Area Garden Collective, and the Federated King’s Daughters Eastern Region. She served on the Work Indy Committee for Indy Plan 2020 (Indianapolis’ bicentennial strategic planning committee). She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Upsilon Omega Zeta Chapter and a member of the SASSEE B Society for Studio B, a co-working and event space in the arts & theatre district downtown Indianapolis dedicated to creatives, in skill and thought, and women.
Lexi is currently writing her dissertation in pursuit of her doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University. Her motto is: “You are only confined by the walls you build for yourself.” – Andrew Murphy. “With God all things are possible” – Matthew 19:26.
